There are many possible reasons why your child may not have been cast. In some cases nerves may have prevented the child from really showing his or her talents. Some shows require more dancing abilities than others, making it more difficult for “non-dancers.” But the bottom line is that there are LOTS of very talented children in Albuquerque and only a certain number of roles are available for any given show. It is always difficult to narrow the list down and we almost always end up having to cut some very talented kids. We hope that every child has a good audition experience and learns something in the process. It’s a hard thing to do and we are proud of every child who auditions. We hope that kids who are not cast will audition for the next show.

To sing well and to dance well is to be well-educated.
